Od petka do nedelje je v Mariboru potekal mednarodni miting Maribor 2023. Na tekmovanju sta nastopila dva plavalca Fužinarja, Janja Šegel in Marcel Metulj.
Šeglova je osvojila štiri zmage (v disciplini 50m, 100m prosto in 100m ter 200m hrbtno) ter eno drugo mesto v disciplini 200m prosto. Prvič letos in po poškodbi se je v svoji paradni disciplini 200m prosto spustila pod mejo dveh minut.
Marcel Metulj je bil v disciplini 50m prosto sedmi.
